 May 4, 2008 In the pre-election period International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy and Georgian Young Lawyers Asociation will visit all regions of Georgia From May 5 to May 13, International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED) and Georgian Young Lawyers Assocition (GYLA) will carry out bus tours throughout Georgia. Organizations' volunteers will visit 27 regional center of Georgia and will inform citizens about election related procedures. During the meetings, role plays will be held, where local citizens will participate as well.
In the frames of campaign "Choose Your Future, Go to Vote", artificial election day will be carried out, where citizens will be available to practice all those procedures, that are necessary for the upcoming Parliamentary Elections to be held on May 21, 2008.
Additionaly, musical group "Frani" will travell with special buses, who will attend and participate in the role plays with the local citizens. Project is implemented with the support of European Union and United Nations Development Programme. please, see the meetings' schedule  |
